Drone Payload Branding & CMF
The Echo SAR drone payload enables operators to quickly find, map, and interact with mobile phone handsets in fast-moving disaster situations.
The branding and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) for any product is paramount for both functionality and aesthetic appeal. For the Echo SAR payload, the work focused on clarifying the program visually and creating a more convincing design direction than the initial marketing brief captured.

Solution
Branding, typography, color, material, and finish were developed together so the payload communicated reliability, innovation, and a clear operational purpose. The concept work was used to show how the system could feel more credible, distinctive, and aligned with the needs of first responders.
Outcome
A stronger CMF and branding direction elevated the perceived value of the payload and helped define a clearer, more coherent visual identity for the program.
