Modular Audio Guide System
A modular hardware and software concept for location-triggered experience delivery.
AudioConexus is a leader in multi-language, location-based content delivery. Driven by customer requirements for physical and software modularity, and by a real-world OS style of experience where location and proximity drive content delivery, the resulting concept architecture and formal language mirrored modern handset technology to support manufacturability and long-term viability.

Challenge
Conventional audio guides force guests to read item numbers and key them in repeatedly, which pulls attention away from the exhibit itself.
Solution
The system combines a modular audio guide, a GPS headend, and Bluetooth Low Energy beacons. Contextual content is triggered by location, proximity, and movement through different content zones.
Outcome
As guests move through the environment, content depth changes dynamically and the device fades into the background so attention stays on the attraction.
